it’ll be my first time heading up to the cabin in the winter. the first thing that came to mind was, “i won’t need a cooler!” then more realistic things started coming to mind, like “i’ll need a sled for the beer,” and “i hope the lock on the door won’t be frozen.” i already have images of me huffing and panting warm breath into a frozen door handle.
